Well, it has been a long time since I have talked to you all, and for that, I must apologize. It has been very busy at school, especially since we have just finished testing. The students were awesome, and they worked really hard on botht he reading and the writing portion of the test. The students are finishing up their biographies, which we have been working on for the last two weeks. Students have just finished writing a bio-poem, and they sound great. Tomorrow, they will be able to share this information with the clas, dressing up for the occasion as well. They will be going through a job interview, in which I will decide to hire them. I will hire all students who have successfully completed their project. I am hoping that this is a fun way for students to present, and I can't wait to see the costumes tomorrow.
This month, students are also working on their animal research paper. They are researching their animal right now, and next week, we will start talking about how to write a paper with this information. They have been given three to four days already,but they will have the rest of the week to finish reseaching their animals. Besides that, it is pretty quiet. The students are finishing up their geometry unit, and they will have a test tomorrow, but they should be fine since we had a review today, and most of the students understood it. We will start on division after this unit. Meanwhile, students should still be practicing their math facts because we will need this for the next unit.
